Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent payment, security deposit, and admin fee need to be paid to secure the home. Confirm the amounts with a member of our team before signing your lease.

Move-in Date

Our team will work with you to determine your move in date.

Utilities

Within 3 days of moving in, you are responsible for placing all utilities in your name. There is a daily fee that will be charged if this is delayed.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Not planning on renewing? Please check the lease to determine your actual move-out date. A written notice of your intent to vacate at least 30 days before moving out.

Property Condition

Before returning the keys for your rental home, you will need to bring the property back to rent-ready condition. This involves the following:

• Rental Cleaning: Thoroughly clean every room within the home, taking care to remove your belongings from the property. All garbage also needs to be taken out of the unit and arranged to be removed if left on the street. Also be sure to clean the floors throughout the home and wipe down all hard surfaces.

• Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have an outdoor space that routinely requires landscaping, be sure to address these items before handing in keys.

• Repairs: If any damage occurred during your residency, please make the necessary repairs. This includes patching nail and screw holes, replacing broken glass, and repainting damaged walls.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit will be returned to you within 30 days of your turning in keys. We will perform a final inspection to check for damages and schedule repairs if necessary; if we do make repairs, any related expenses will be deducted from the deposit. A list will be provided to you within 30 days of any damages.

Please note, you cannot use these funds to cover your last month's rent payment.
